The much-heralded move towards near patient testing is becoming a reality.  Traditional methods can be time-consuming and labour intensive. OJ-Bio provide rapid detection and identification using simple, low cost products, with wireless connectivity. The component used for detection, a surface acoustic wave (SAW) device, is currently mass manufactured by for use in mobile phones and many other electronic devices.
